friggin cracks me up man, to win 1st place all you have to do is repetative backflips, barrel rolls, 180's and 360's. Wow. and you need a 30g boat to do it..., and the Ijsba wants to complain about attendance counts, lack of participants, and how they're underfunded....lol
^^^^^ Agreed. I'm personally tired of seeing a zillion backy's in a row, and the absence of the real rider skill like the old days. I'm not saying that backy's don't take skill, but they don't take near as much rider stamina and skill as monkey flips, etc.. If the only "skill" you need to...
I know what the material is, and I'm quite sure they themselves are very strong, much stronger than regular material used in, or that is usually used in that area. I'm just talking about where they connect to the tray at the bottom. the little triangle you made to "fillet" them at the bottom is...
I just hope the aft area of those gunwales are strong enough from side to side. there looks to be quite a bit of leverage from the top on those things as opposed to the width of their structural base at the tray. whew...lol this is so cool man, it's like being in art class and watching everyone...
I mean like how superjets and sxi, sxr's etc... have everything flush with the top of the ski, instead of protruding up past the top surface level of hood and nose. I haven't seen the handlepole or bracket on the ski yet, so yeah I may be misunderstanding it to be a different way, I just figure...
Not condescending at all bro, just focus on the build...lol you're doing a great job. If this works out well, your delayed methods will prove suitable for what we do. I've studied FRP in the past, and usually builders try to avoid non-chemical bonding structures between layups, because after...
I'm not saying that, It's just that since there is not chemical bonding in between steps, I'm wondering how much environment it can actually take, as opposed to a regular vacuumed hull layup. Also, do you think the amount of layers is sufficient for an adequate wall thickness?
