Sxi spark on one wire. Bad coil? Please help

With a few exceptions both Kawasaki and Yamaha used solid core wires that often break near the cap. The outer insulation will stretch over the broken inner wire and cause a misfire. The quick fix is pulling the cap and slightly clip the whole thing until you find fresh internal wire.. I have...

    Flywheel for 701 b1

Think about finding a 62T cyl and widen the exhaust to 66%. Then tune the pump to 7000 rpm. Cheap and easy way to the high 40s on cheap gas.

Wossner pistons for modified Superjet 760 engine

Wiseco got away from making pistons much lighter than stock. Their new ones seem to expand less than older ones and the skirts don't collapse much anymore.

    Jacob's 550 handling tricks/hacks

On 550s, the front cover with the H-pole mount does not attach to the rest of the top deck. Plus the log jumps were hard on front ends. Adding some glass up front would help everything stay intact. No different than adding material to the insides of Superjets. Look at some old 440-550 race...

    The future of freestyle, freeride

Almost everything is custom made now, theres very little need for OEM support. Banning twostrokes or making our boats quiet is about the only way to get rid of us.

Tell me what you think of this motor work

Thats an OLD 650 race motor. Sell all that garbage and get a newer 62T engine. If you want to use it then measure the exhaust port. If its less than 70%, blend the sides and run it till it pops.

'Blaster 61x/61x to 62T/61x for more bottom end?

I would bore the nozzle and note how quickly the pipe responds to throttle inputs. Adjust the impeller pitch if needed. The Mod pipe and lower pitch impeller should turn over 7000 rpm so the stock rev limit needs to be raised. A pair of 44s, even stock 760 carbs will make the pipe hit a little...

once thought my ski was waterlogged until i pulled the mid-shaft to my surprise ........

The driveshaft seals inside the mid shaft with O-rings, the mid housing seals to the hull. All superjets have a wet cavity behind the mid housing. It is usually full of sand that gets scooped into the splines whenever the pump is removed and reinstalled. Its the real reason splines go bad. You...

Dasa 850 impeller pitch (144mm 12 vane pump)

I have some experience with the large hub Solas 12/18. It was the only size available and I had to make it work on a 701, which it did after a LOT of bending.. Ill say, out of the box, this 12/18 too much load for any stock cylinder engine regardless of displacement. A power valve 850 with a...

    Wet jet 46.

Normally, you will lose power if too rich and lose response if too lean. The carb tune will tend to be a little rich of peak rpm when the ski pulls hardest whenever a small pilot is used. A lot of freestyle guys like to use big pilot jets and a leaner main. This kind of tune will respond good...

    anyone making custom rideplates?

The ripstop nylon works as good as any specialty peel ply you can buy. Bleeder doesn't seem to be critical, I've had good results with old rags and clothing. Apply a little more resin in the corners and make sure the bag doesn't bridge.
