    Wetjet Intake Manifold

I remember, it was Westcoasts Blaster pipe HP claims that made FPP change their adds from 12HP to 19HP. No good way to call them out back then. Then again, there's no good way to call them out today!

Does anyone know how much more power a WetJet manifold makes???

650 cylinder vs 701 cylinder question

The lower port engine is better with a stock superjet exhaust. If you have a pipe, use the 62t cyl and get the impeller right.

    2021 Superjet...kinda blah looking

Whats your style? Do you want bling like, furry handlebars and curb feelers. or maybe a ranch hand bumper with bull horns? There is room up front for a nice gold Mercedes emblem or mini Bentley grill.

Just picked up a 94 stock blaster.

This appears to be your first ski. Its going on its 27th birthday. I would disassemble and inspect/replace everything needed before I ever rode it. If you do ride it, make sure to practice deep water reboarding before you fall off.

    Super Jet Gas fumes

An even better reason to store with the hood propped open is so all the water can dry out !!! Your carbs aren't sealed and gas stinks so you will smell it until all the gas dries up. I have had a vent check valve get stuck closed, the tank sucked in and the engine would not idle. Many guys...

    Carbon vs Fiberglass test

The only reason to use carbon is for weight reduction. This weight saving is expensive, nearly $100 per pound. For a given dimension, carbon will weigh less, be stiffer, and "should" be a little stronger than glass. A hull doesn't stress the fiber nearly as much as it does the resins ability...

    Wet jet 46.

The top screw and main jet go to the same place. You want to be a little rich of peak rpm at full speed. If the top screw ends up over 2 turns out then install a larger main jet. The pilot jet is mainly 1/4 throttle and they are very sensitive. I would buy pilots ranging from 120-130 and a 165...

    Sponson position for surf???

Are you sure that you want them? They pull down whenever they touch fast moving water. With that in mind, you may want to make the installation as adjustable as possible.

    New Inverse Hull

I imagine most customers would surely make a big mess out of assembling a hull. I already have a modified Superjet that I like and could use it as a plug. I really don't want to get into the hull making business although its looking inevitable.

    Dual carb vs single

I have had bad luck with high speed lean out using larger single carbs. A 61x case setup seems to work very well with smaller engines, all you give up is a little acceleration when compared to a 62t case with dual 44/46s. Everyone wants bigger but I can say that a pair of 44s work very well...

    SBT Crank OK?

I know the older 650-701 cranks used a thick wear ring. All the 760 cranks use a very thin wear ring that usually comes loose after the coupler has been taken off. That SBT unit pictured looks a little thicker than a factory 760 ring.

    Boswell Carb tuning

Buy some bigger jets and get it worked out. Leave the air nipple plugged if it goes into the fuel metering side.

    Water ingestion damage

FWIW, Ive found TCW3 to work very well in low temp engines. Its difficult to run a modified standup long enough at full power to benefit from an ester based racing oil. Maxima Super M is good for jetski use, it has a little high temp detergent and a lot of petroleum to help keep corrosion down.

    Water ingestion damage

Your water jackets are rough. The rest of it looks normal and the bore actually very good for an old unit All crank seals will leak oil outwardly. There is some bare steel exposed in the water jacket. Aftermarket gaskets can cause it. Common TCW3 oil is designed to work in a wet environment...

Other Hitch Hauler Lets see everyone's Hitch Hauler pics and setups

What material are those bunks covered with? I know that anything that is not soft will slowly eat its way into the bottom of a ski.

    no bottom end power!

The trailing edge should not be over 1.380" from the blade above, much more will start to kill low end. I recommend buying a flywheel cover to cut a hole in so you can check ignition timing. A tachometer is also very helpful for basic tuning.

    Freestyle Hauling with no trailer

I know that people have unique situations. I would buy a rickety trailer before I tried to load a ski over my head.
