I did run a stock 64x cdi on my fx1 for a while. I ground the small lump off and it still runs fine. I think it moves the revlimiter up higher. It went very well but not as well as it goes with the zeeltronic in it ( not even close )

To be fair what we are doing here is a lot different from the jstl system. I used to do ignition systems years ago. I dont want that head ache anymore.

I have been speaking with Borut and he is working on the kawasaki 1100 system now. So when its finished its going to be a plug and play 1100 ignition for your triple. I understand that no ones a triple in a free ride boat but a lot of people in here have flat water sports skis as well.

I would be checking your needle and seats if I was you. This is a common thing if you have leaking needle and seats. I have seen it blow waveblasters aparts. Bottom deck in the water top deck in orbit
