I have not done it but I have done a little carb tuning in my time. I would expect a little more hit and a little bit more at the top( not much) The issue i see is the reeds on a 61x are quite small and you would quickly hit the limit of the reeds abilty.

I used a gp1200 box in my ski with a remote mounted 1100 yamaha coil. That worked well When i put my triple sxr together I will do the same

Different timing changes the tune so you would need to sort the mixture at the same time

Yeah removing magnets take a massive amount out. I have a couple of guys over here that run two flywheels depending what they are up to. Personally i just run charging
