Find an adhesive like urethane or even a stiff setting RTV and use a piece of fiberglass inside the tube. You will need to clean and scuff the tube. Epoxy will stick to plastic so-so if its prepped well but a more flexible resin is better.

Do some research and practice with small parts first. Using vacuum will bleed off excess resin and saves a ton of weight. An old airbrush compressor will work fine.
