Like the title says, why does ADA say to run cooling on the carb side? Would I be screwed if I ran it on the same side as stock?

I installed an ADA head today with the 32cc domes it came with. I had read that these will lower compression, even though ADA says they get you 180 psi. You guys were right, ADA is so wrong. I went from 165 with a stock head to 155 with this head. Bummer. I already ordered 28cc domes. Why do...

Well I finally got around to pulling my head today. Found some scuff marks in the mag cylinder. Im guessing that was the culprit. I'm glad and surprised my compression stayed at 165. I didn't find any metal shavings or anything. Other than a bunch of oil residue everywhere, everything else...
