You can relocate that sub plate bolt to the hole that is 1" closer to the steering stops. I drilled and tapped my hole, or TBM makes a bolt.

If you ride in a place that fines. No water cops up here hehehe. We do what we want. My 550 doesn't like pulling tubers but it'll do it. My SXR pulls em good tho. If you can get away with it I say go for it.
