easiest shortest explanation. measure the location or your current shaft and make sure the new one is in the same spot. LOL. search is your friend,this has been detailed and covered more than once on most of the setups. wish I had the time to spell it out for you.

actually the wear ring is the only part that needs to be replaced and if you buy one with the plastic liner its like 35 to fix it when it wears out. the steering nozzle needs the tabs welded too but its not something that will need to be replaced because of wear.
welding stuff on it is not...

Shawn I have seen some needles get hung up on the lever as they have a little bump on em sometimes. keeps it from closing and just floods all the time, also some crap might be stuck in the needle and check the little clear plastic flap on the part of...

i understand the new hulls have longer sponsons and so does an sxr, but they are from the factory that way. unless they changed the rules, then they are still limited on length. old hulls don't get grandfathered in just becasue the new ones are better.
