    There was an early part number from the first year or two. Ive got one of those early round holed ones still NIB. I dont know why they changed the rods but it seems like the old ones have withstood the test of time.

    It will work very well, try it and see what your peak rpm is and how long it takes to spool up and hit the pipe. I suspect it will need the trailing edge raised a little in order to get the best response and hardest acceleration. If that is important then bore the nozzle first.

    I dont exactly know. I did a long tern oil test with Citgo oil and it turned one side of the rods dark purple and the other side looked like new.
