I have been told the remote diesel powered EV charge stations burn more fuel during a charge than a gas car does for the same distance traveled. California now needs to outlaw charging a battery with gas generators.
I know that at 300lbs, a 135hp electric ski would be fun to ride but wont have enough run time. At 507lbs it may have some run time but is too heavy to be much fun. It takes the same power to push a ski 20mph as it does to push a Tesla 70mph. The Tesla gets to carry 2000lbs of batteries.
Make sure the top carb adjusters are set rich of peak rpm and dont hold it wide open when the fuel level is low. You can easily go from 100% reliable to a damaged piston with a few air bubbles in the fuel line.
If you arent too big and want a fixed steer think about modding a Superjet. That will provide better acceleration and are easier to find parts for, plus it will be easy to sell. The biggest problem with X2s are that they are OLD and need work. The most importand question is how much time ond...
The planet can be in its natural state if humanity would live like it did before we could control fire. The industrial revolution and population growth has and will continue to slowly change conditions beyond what they would otherwise be. Very few in a group will willingly pick up and dispose...
That pipe with a low port cylinder will work with higher pitch impellers. I have not tried the Hookers so Im not sure how they load. The lowest pitch Solas Dyna fly is probably a little too much load. The 12-18 small hub Concord would be close. Look for no more than 1.5 inches between the...
Most of them are single chambers with the outlet tube near the bottom. Wrap around pipes don't allow enough room for anything else plus riders like the noise.
I can make the idle mixture perfect with plugged jets and any pop-off pressure since the bottom screw is the main control at that throttle position.. The top screw can generally add up to #20 to the main jet so those can be less than perfect. The main jet could be plugged if the top screw...
It can work with a Superjet head, get one newer than 1995, they will not have a 61X casting. It will also need to be milled in order to have any kind of throttle response. The 62T cylinder has a taller port and larger bolts so you need to carefully position the manifold when cutting the holes...
Buy a cylinder thats been ported for the superstock class. That is the max for an OEM cylinder. Most riders want better response with pump gas than race porting generally provides.
I would back off those numbers for your first attempt. Start with a stock 62t cylinder and get a good pipe. Spend time learning how to tune the carb and pump first. Once that is perfect you can cut the cylinder a little at a time, until you ruin it. At that point you will have more tuning...
The main difference is a jet pump requires max torque near its full throttle RPM since its load squares with RPM. A vehicle on wheels needs to make just enough torque at its shift point where a jet pump requires peak torque at its full throttle RPM. There is some compromise between throttle...
