    2013 sept. 13-15, Bull Schoals jet-ski freeride

I'd like to try and meet up with ya'll. I live right in between Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes. About 9 miles to either one from my house. A couple of my buddies ride stand-ups too.

    Mounting up an SBN44?

It works out real nice. He made a spacer for the carb to head support also. The hole bosses are there in the SBN but they aren't tapped.

    SBN44 issues

Yes, checked after it was hot and displayed the symptoms. Spark was more yellow/orange than blue/white.

    Mounting up an SBN44?

A customer of mine has a couple 550's and wanted the SBN carbs for better performance and tuneability. It just so happens he owns the equipment needed to build his own intake spacers. Here is one of the intake spacers he made and a F/A adapter to stealthily mount up the stock arrestor to the new 44.

    SBN44 issues

Actually got it working this weekend. Spark was getting very weak after the ski warmed up good. Swapped out the CDI/coil and it would start right back up every time.

    SBN44 issues

I put an SBN44 on a '90 model 550. The ski is otherwise bone stock. I put in a 100 pilot and 120 main jet. Popoff is at 20psi. The ski seems to run out just fine but is pretty hard to start. Seems like you have to give it partial choke and crack the throttle while cranking and it will finally...

    650/X-2 Run away ski

Mine tipped sideways once and the handlepole flopped full up. It just stayed layed over and went straight away from me til my bro-in-law did a 180 and threw wake at it. Then it uprighted and started circling. I had to swim about 75 ft. Another good reason to always have a riding buddy.

    650/X-2 Sunk the stand up

Probably still has water in the engine keeping it from lighting up. Crank it some with one plug out, then the other plug. Then spray carb cleaner on the plugs to help dry the moisture off of them. Spray some carb cleaner and wd40 down each cylinder, install plugs, then pull choke and fire it...

650/X-2 X2 jumps on plane then looses power

Start it up with hood off then hold a rag over the exhaust. If it starts blowing smoke into the engine compartment then you have an exhaust leak.

650/X-2 X2 jumps on plane then looses power

or it could be air in the fuel supply or sucking exhaust fumes from a leaky rubber coupler??

650/X-2 Looking at my first ski

I just sold a pretty decent 650 Superjet for $800 and it had a solas impeller and aftermarket 0 degree bars. I gave $200 for my 650sx in WAY better shape than that one. I gave $400 for my winter project 650 Superjet in about the same shape as that 650sx with some quickie repairs that I have to...

Other Anybody used this hybrid resin?

My local body shop carries this http://www.uschem.com/index.cfm?page=productDetail&id=143&docCat=3 They said they stock it because it's approved for SMC repairs on new GM vehicles. It's pretty inexpensive AND it's in stock so I thought I'd give it a go on the crack in my squarenose and to...

    650/X-2 a few 650sx rebuild questions.

I would go a whole tank of fuel mixed 32:1 for the first tank and stay out of full throttle. I run all my stuff 40:1.
