TH400 was definitely indestructible. Only transmission I never had a problem with. And I had a several, lol.

From order date to delivery turned out to be a week shy of 5 months. IMHO it was worth the wait, got exactly what I wanted option wise.

Just took delivery. I've owned Chev, Ford, Toyota, couple of each. Been a Toyota guy last 14 yrs., I have to admit this Ford could sway me.....

I ran one that was cracked exactly like this on my FX1 for years until I did a Kawi swap on it. As long as it's not cavitating ...... even if it was I'd seal it with some silicone or epoxy.

Yeah I liked the V2 Bot. Short and it carved, like it was stuck to the water. Wasn't what I was after at the time (flat water flip). But that face spray would wake ya up. I would guess spray is going to be an issue with any rockered boat, if anyone knows of exceptions , please, chime in.

Yeah I get it about Freaks sliding , but I figured a little less face spray( lake use). I’ve not ridden the M1, but I have ridden 3 different versions of SV’s and Aquabots, and they are face sprayers. Maybe someone can chime in about the M1. My Rickter would be a face sprayer without the splash...

I used US Composites 3:1 epoxy mixed with graphite ( I wanted black) and aerogel. Has turned out to be indestructible and impervious to gas and oil. Rolled it on with a foam roller. Takes a little experimenting to get the finish you want. Small changes in ratio of epoxy to filler make big...

Run the patina, it earned it.

Shaving cream. We use it on pump suction lines, works great. I only proceed to the vac test AFTER a good pressure test.

I pressure check at 7-10 psi and while the motor is sealed up I follow with a 20-25 hg vacuum check just for this reason.
