Ross Champion cuts the rear potion off... just the portion that the water flows through... I did not personally notice a huge differene... but I would imagine it would be less drag and allow the boat to go through the water easier...

If you drive just south of the ramp, behind the condos by the bridge it is free 2 hour parking.... or you could go and pay for parking and park north by the little deli

They may be as heavy as a fiberglass hull, but imagine how bullet-proof they are being full carbon and weighing 90lbs... You could jump that thing off Niagra Falls and not get a stress crack haha!!!

I have a bell Drop and it is really comfortable... it is a downhill mtb helmet... as for the DOT ratings and everything... a downhill helmet will be fine! They are made to take the hits that pro downhill riders take which can be 70mph+ A DOT approved helmet would almost be more dangerous...

Both are fun skis! I have had both an sxr and a superjet... I rode the sxr for a year then switched to a 2008 superjet... I did this because i ride surf and the superjet feels all around better in surf.. the nose is a bit higher up and less prone to nose diving... and it is much more...

Dang!! I have been unlucky the last two years with this!!! I have finals the week after!!! I vote it is moved to he week after!!! I think John Howe would agree!! :)

John is right... Oceanside is closer than any lake... and 100x more fun!!! Everyone that rides there is super nice and very supportive!! I live in HB, so the closest rideable lake would be Smell-some-more (elsinore) which is a longer drive than Oceanside.

So I was riding up in pismo and everytime the nose of my ski dipped underwater( even the slightest amount) my motor would stall. It would then start right back up with no problems. It did not feel like water was getting into the carb or anything. Any ideas on what might be the problem...

I say since you got the bottom deck all alone you should do some nose chopping and reshaping and add in some rocker...

Tray looks pretty long to me... it just looks narrow now because there are no footholds installed yet

Just wondering... do you have to cross the tide river of death? or is there a bridge or something to get around it... is it salt water or fresh?
