Hey, So I got my new ski this morning. I worked on it all day to get it ready to take out including building a nice ramp to help load and unload from the back of my truck because I dont have a trailer. When I went down to the harbor to launch I found that I can put it in the water there but cant park do to the fact that all the parking near by is for trailers only. Is there anywhere else I can put in the water for now. I would like to ride a bit this weekend.

If you drive just south of the ramp, behind the condos by the bridge it is free 2 hour parking.... or you could go and pay for parking and park north by the little deli

Ya that is what i had to do today, the paying thing isnt that big of a deal it is having to unload and leave my ski sitting by itself while i go drive around park and walk all the way back to it, And with these having no key or anything it would be real easy for it to dissapear before I get back. And this weekend is stupid buisy down there.
Is that only ramp near by though.

Yes that is the only ramp everyone uses. There are 2 metered spots if you get there early enough (bring your quarters). If you park where Wes said (either spot) you can do what I do and bring a pedal bike and a cable lock. Just drop your boat in the water. Beach it or tie it to the dock. Then park and ride your bike back and lock it up.

alight thanks guys, I will be going down there tomorrow quite abit earlier than today so I will be able to look around and figure my options better. when I was there today there were so many people the place was jammed packed and you needed to have a plan before rolling in. I had to step over people and there dogs just to get back to my ski.

I'm sure you've heard the old saying "the early bird gets the worm" Dealing with the "average joe masses" is the worst. Your learning rather quickly why the Oside crew rides early

Hey brett,
Depending on the surf someone is usually riding at least fri-sun. If the surf is good then someone could be there anydays. Im out of town working for 10 days, but will let you know when im back as i try and ride 3 days a week.

Some pretty decent sized 3-4' surf just rolled in today. I'm sure pretty much everyone will be riding tomorrow. Actually the Forecast is saying 3-4'+ all next week so we'll be riding EVERY day. Meet at the ramp at 7am. See you there!
