thanks for the info, im going to just turf the plastic too. turf + the foam would look really thick. I was planning on glassing over it when i decided to turf it but decided it would be fine the way it is.

Im turfing my stock chinpad and had a few questions for anyone who has done it. Will cutting the lip off [in pic] make it structurally unsound? Ide like to run the turf up to the edge and i think it would look funny with bowing out all around the edge. should i put a layer of glass over it...
