about the hood, dont the vents on the top just pour water right into the liner anyway then it goes down the tubes into the engine compartment? ide like to cut it down shorter and move the vents to the back, and still run tubes anyway

Have you cleaned this plug out? Mine did the same thing and it was the plug that was corroded. I cut the plug out and soldered them together. WOULD not advise this, Pita to take the electrics apart now.

i would say epoxy also, but make sure you put a junk bolt in it or something to keep from messing up the threads
