i take it back, i went to braize it on last night and melted the brass fitting twice, so ill have to get it tig welded. yep the stinger is stainless. I got a Brass nipple from homedepot and cut some of the threads off so it wouldent be so long

i would start with cleaning the carbs if you havent allready, and checking the fuel filter

Putting my cheater pipe in today and i was wondering where the small line going off the head is supposed to go to? should i run it to the small nipple on the headpipe?

mine just goes out the side, i also wouldent want it going into the tray because of and grease or wd40 that could wind up on my turf

the carb and the pipe were off, just recently put the exhaust manifold on, but untill then i could see the pistons ect and they looked fine, not too worried about the whole thing, just have to put things back together really, and get a new battery. I have basically a whole 61x set up just laying...

it was under the awning of my back garage / workshop then later moved inside, not properly stored and thats probably the problem. The puddle is freshwater since ive never taken it in salt, but when i first got the ski the Ebox had all stripped screws holding it together, i drilled and tapped...

Not a problem caused by sitting around, but It seems that some of my problems are caused by water in the ebox, opening it up soon

Well, after about a year or maybe a year and a half im finally getting back to my SN. I soaked everything down with wd 40 when i got back out to it. What was decent paint now looks like it was finger painted by an infant, The fuel lines are now quite nasty, no doubt the battery passed away...

its a 701, i took his intake and carb allready, i was just makeing sure because ive heard some parts are different.
