I’d go after a 155 OE setup with a 5/10 for that 718 and hang onto the 160 for the big motor. Getting a 160 prop flat enough for that 718 may not be practical. You’ll have no problem moving the 155 set up when you’re done with it.

I've had them be a bitch with or without sealant especially at the stainless dowels, in my experience at least the sealant limits corrosion in salt water only boats, 99% of my riding.

I use the Permatex Ultra Grey, it's supposed to have higher vibration resistance. Not so much to seal the sections, they won't leak without it, more so to displace the water to limit the white corrosion build up.

Absolutely polish it ! I polished my B Pipe on a boat I rode only in salt, surf and back bays. The only regret I had was that I didn't polish it before the crinkle powder coat trapped salt and pitted the alum. Made it twice as much work polishing.
