Had to polish it before mounting. Used the countersunk hole for epoxy as a rivet for the hood ratchet nut plate pictured with it.

I also wanted to run a manifold for cooling so I made a mount for a 6 port manifold. Counter sunk holes that were filled with epoxy to act as "rivets".

A little product placement here. I found these truly one hand reusable ties. I use a Jacobs chuck from a burned up drill for hand scoring the carbon.

I used some carbon plate and a Rotoloc to make a single bolt mount. No basket to clog, if pump clogs, easy removal.

One thing I did want to fit was a sump pump. If this were a competition boat I wouldn't have bothered. I ride by myself sometimes and if that sump buys me an extra 10 seconds it was worth bringing along. The basket for this sump was 5200'd in another hull and as always, the mounting tabs broke...

Looks comparable to what Tony supplied me, 40 min work time. The stuff I had didn't have equal size tubes, it had 1 big tube and a smaller piggy back tube.

Getting clear epoxy to look right takes a little doing, lol, to say the least. I've experimented with vacuum pots for off gassing, different temps, you name it, I tried it.
