I rebuilt a customers Seadoo 787 this past winter that was loose enough the first oversize piston would slide HALF WAY down into the cylinder!! Still didn't break a skirt.

Retro is IN!!!!
I wish I could do more to some of my flip stuff sitting here. My yard's been looking like this since July 4th holiday. For every couple fixed, a couple more show up! At least I'll have money to live off of this winter LOL!
I NEED to be working on that SUV to flip this season...........but instead all my 'SPARE' time is still going into my son's house. I just finished up installing the 2 dormer windows. That was AFTER I built a little stand with legs so I could actually sit up there on the 12/12 pitch roof!!
I take the wet foam and put it down on a couple old towels on the shop floor. Then I jump and stomp on the foam to get most of the water out. Then set out in the sun until dry. 2 days tops.
I know man 105 here today! If I move from the broken ski to my workbench I have to turn the fan and make sure it's blowing right at me. My wife keeps the office door shut and window a/c on max!!
When I said jet cover I was thinking about the CV carbs I currently had apart.......BUT it's that triangular shaped piece 'check' valve. Most of the aftermarket crap is too thick and causes all different kinds of issues. If yours is thin flimsy Keihin brand, you're good.
On that Keihin.......did you put a keihin flapper on the back of the jet cover? Just like a Mikuni, if it's aftermarket and too thick it can cause serious running issues. Also popoff should be real low on those, like 15-20psi.
HA!! Can't beat free.
I bought a '98 GTS this week that looks CLEAN but has noisy low end bearings.
Also bought a Polaris Genesis ficht injected that some meth head was working on. Left a bunch of bolts loose and the center cylinder got loose enough while running to break a chunk out of one...
I'm working through a GTI LE rfi right now that one of you darn flippers worked on...........LOL! Some random flipper ripped this young kid off. So the story is,.....kid really wanted a jet ski. Found a nice looking yellow 2005 GTi LE Rfi. Grandma gave him 3k to buy it cause it started right up...
The trick is to have enough extra weight on the pole from all the crack repairs and glass and resin........that the pole sits in a neutral position...LOL!!!
On the decals...........I've learned if you spray that outer paper covering with water and let it sit a few minutes, the paper releases off the decal a LOT easier.
How are you getting any real work done messing with this thing? Man I've been working after hours water testing and worked both my days off so I can start all over again tomorrow. I've got over 20 waiting in line right now!
