    When we were racing Superstock (stock cranks) we would ensure our piston assembly (85.5mm) weighed as close to oem assembly as possible. Never knew If it helped at 7800 rpm but it was piece of mind.

    Most if not all sidedrafts I ran were jets forward. Just like OEM Yamaha (800 and 1200) motors. Jet changes are not fun when jets forward.

    Blaster stock pump shoes are different than superjets. They are longer. Most that break replace with superjet pump shoe. The back of a superjet grate won’t fit a blaster shoe and hence the front doesn’t line up either.
