We build a lot of EME Roid hulls. We use SJ mounts. I have used couch mounts, and they ARE stronger, but they sit higher, and may need to be machined down on the base for proper height.

This and more commonly for us, we find problems to gaskets, diaphragms, o-rings, etc due to use of ethanol fuel.

Instructions are confusing. Most ALL Mikuni SBN carbs use the smaller hole diaphragm. You only use the large hole one on early Yamaha Single SBN carbs, with the matching paper gasket, and NO o-ring.

They typically come out pretty easy. You will end up breaking it up. Grind, and chip off any old glue, etc.

One Supply from tank to "in" on each fuel pump. Out from each pump to "in" on Each carb. Returns from carbs can be tee'd together to go back to tank. As stated above, make sure you have restrictors in the returns. Either IN the carbs, or lines.
