    My plastic nozzle does just fine and its been bored to ø85. Even has trim. BEFORE/AFTER TRIM/SAME BUT CLEANED UP ^and yes my ski was sitting on a 5 gallon bucket...:icon16:

    they wouldnt use ping pong balls for any structural strength. they would simple be for floatation. reinforcing would be done for strength.

    i've thought about the packaging foam that they use to ship with. its enclosed in plastic, but im not sure if theres any vent holes or not.

    hmm, i have good X cases with a 46 or T cases with dual 38s. Decisions, decisions. My current boat has X cases with a 44 and I love how that runs so its hard to use the T cases knowing I can sell them for decent money. But T cases should give me more power.

    How short is too short for my pole?

    most of the time you will be limited by the exhaust tube, unless are using something other than stock. For most boats, the normal placement is fine, i shortened my hull 2 inches so i'm moving my holds up two inches.
