Apparently my drysuit is a bit too baggy. After riding a minute or two I noticed I had two clotheshangers at my ass.

Impressions: The power is incredible. Of course, I paid more attention to the cylinder porting this time around than all the times before. I put some thought & theory into practice on the transfer ports & angles. That paid off.
Currently, the off-idle hit is lacking. I suspect the carb has too high a popoff pressure. It stumbles for a sec, then catches itself.
Once it goes, it f'n goes! It does every bit as well as my 61x ported/62T cased (ported) 717 motor with Total loss, higher compression, and VForce reeds.

This Frankenstein:
ported X-cases
Ported t cyl, 760
Riva head, 35cc domes
Riva Powerbomb 48
Enhancer + LPW 61x lightened flywheel

Reeds are stock. I think I will run this motor for a while. In fact, I find my other motor with TL kinda disappointing now. This Frankenstein hits!
Not talking down my other motor - I think my better porting this time around had a lot to do with the nice power I am getting.
I think I will tear down that other motor, clean it up, improve the porting, paint it, etc etc etc.

Did you have to clean up the transfer ports alot? I can't tell from the pics. I have 62t cyl I'm thiking about putting on my motor. I'm still kinda scared to grind on the transfer ports. Also, what kind of bars did you use during your bench test? :haha:

Actually, these transfers needed a lot less cleanup than the three X cylinders I have done.

Those were UMI zero degree bars.

camera came with no software....thats extra.....so was the cable.....I'm sure I could do it myself....but matt said "Oh....I can get that for you....I'll bring it down this weekend"....so I didnt bother looking and I have been way too busy working on my ski the past few weeks to mess with it. But now that I have some footage that he wants maybe he'll get to work!

Yeah, ask Phill about that. :haha:
I asked him to hold on to the engine to prevent a torque-roll off the bench. It turns out, ear-shaped expansion chambers don't work all that well.

hmm, i have good X cases with a 46 or T cases with dual 38s. Decisions, decisions. My current boat has X cases with a 44 and I love how that runs so its hard to use the T cases knowing I can sell them for decent money. But T cases should give me more power.
