I'm debating whether or not to go with a rear exhaust or not. Refoaming and the exhaust is already out so no real extra work. I will either make a rear side exhaust tube or I'll do front only.

Waterbox will most likely be stock.

For the people who have ridden with skis like this, is it much louder? I dont mind loud skis but I dont want neighbors getting mad and getting hassled for it.

I forgot!
i don't think front is too loud, I noticed on my rear exhaust when i get on the throttle enough and clean out the pipes it still gives out loud braps off jumps which sounded like my current front exhaust only setup.

whats the squirting up in the air? is that the pisser or something, hard to pinpoint where its coming from.

:haha: Yeah, it is a 4mm pisser that turned up when I was installing the motor. That was pretty much the first time I had the lamey running so I still needed to tuned and that was just a small issue that looked funny when riding. Let you know the exhaust cooling circuit was working :haha:

look at d slickers build. the front exhaust kinda points down and back. thats how mines gonna be. i really don't see water coming out of it all the time an issue. its easier for the water coming out of the water box to go out the rear instead of going forward around the hose if the ski is moving forward.

so most of that is water from the pisser, not exhaust... i was gonna say that was way more than i expected.

No, all the water spraying up is from that pisser. I achually kept it that way for a while to squirt guys I was riding with  As long as you keep some back pressure it won't be that loud. X-metal exhaust w/ front and rear = loud, x-metal box w/ just front or rear outlet = Not that bad b/c you retain some back pressure in the system.

front exhaust is really loud and I would think it would be a bad idea, but those are the people that actually want it for tricks... ya kinda need it

GASKETS FOR CHAMP BRAP!
Once I set up a front only exhaust using the big Wescoast silencer with no water running in the outlet it had on it and it was screaming loud.
They(Region 4 promoter)almost werent gonna let me compete that weekend. I didnt pass the DB level, but they kind of bent the rules that day for freestyle. They asked the other competitors and they didnt care either..
I took it off after that and never got around to testing it with water running through the inlet sprayer it had..

A lot of it depends on where you ride and what the locals and watercops will tolerate... I just run a regular split exhaust now.

I have one of those but didn't plan on running it.

Donnie (Jetskimobile1) is running left front and right rear side on his supejet... it's pretty friggin loud. He had it up hear a few years back on Lake Erie... it rocked the entire bay.

I rather enjoyed the sound myself, but many of the locals did not care much for it.
