Sounds like your starter is fine but your Bendix is on its way out.
Your description is a little foggy but thats what it sounds like to me!
If thats what it is, you will be fine. Its a cheap and pretty simple fix!

Just another thought here. I swamped my SN one time pretty bad a got a whole lot of water in my fuel tank/lines. Steve Uk and I coulndnt figure out what was wrong till we looked at the fuel lines. ( thank god for the clear lines from fuellinebiz ) There was so much milk in there we could...

Thanks for all the input fella's, it makes things alot easier when you go out a drop a wad of cash on every jet and spring you can get! At least the ol ladie is of my back...For now!
