Yup, I used west and filler in the bond line but I didn't glass over it. I would make sure the bulkhead is sealed well. I went around mine with west.

You will want to fill in the bond line in the back for sure. They do leak. As for reinforcing, I would only do what you need to. Glass + resin = heavy?

Or you could not do stabs in shallow water????:banghead: I am also refoaming my ski. I decided on the 3lb foam. I went with 5 cft. I would guess 3cft would do the ski.

I just did a little glass work for the first time. No problem. If you just do a little research before you start you will be fine! Don't forget, if you are laying glass on smc make sure you get epoxy resin! Good luck

Yeah, I think that is what alot of guys are using for the cats system. I imagine there will be a fair bit of fabricating to do.

I am just thinking for down the road. I am going to install trim. I have the boat all ripped apart now, so I might as well put the trim tube in. I am guessing the cable would be supported by the pump with a bracket of some sort, and just seal both ends with 5200?? Thanks

Just wondering what size of tube you guys are putting your trim cables through? I was thinking 1" pvc.

Ahh, the girdle kit from ADA is 6 stainless steel studs male thread on both ends. One end threads into the case, the other end comes through your head and is fastened with acorn nuts.:biggthumpup:

Supertune That sounds like your motor is going to rip!!!! Awhile a go, I saw a spreadsheet on here that showed piston size and stroke, pretty sure it showed 1050cc. Maybe those were just #'s, not actually realistic????

A seapoo motor in a yamaha hull?? To me that just seems wrong. I would just build a motor with the 62T cases. You can go as big as 1050 or so. Now that would be sick!!!

Ahhh, that would be the "woodruff key" you are missing. I would check on the magnet in the flywheel, it might be there. Make sure it isn't on the stator or loose in there. It will make a mess.
