awsome thanks. now i need a limited chamber!

i just aquired a free 650 factory pipe in great condition. i did a bit of research and it seems if i buy a limited chamber i can use this manifold and headpipe on my 701??? I wasnt 100% clear on that so i figured id just ask. thanks!

it probly wont run like crap...just loud as hell. we got a guy in our group that thinks no waterbox is cool, but it still runs fine.

Ya i dont know the torque specs...alot haha. the one i worked on turned a 17.5 foot propeller. and yes they are 2 stroke diesels. we have a sulzer cylinder liner at our shop somwhere...ill try to snap a pic or 2.

i was working on a ship with a 6 cyl sulzer, and each piston, rings and rods weighed somthing like 25 tonnes EACH. It only turned 98 rpm, and was 11,500 hp! Not as big as the one in the pic tho...but was still 3 decks tall! Pretty cool engines...2 stroke power!!

i have never used the o rings, i just fill the groove right full of permatex ultra copper. works everytime and i have bever had a problem with burning couplers in the 3 years ive had my pipe.

i like to see them within 10 lbs of eachother. thats just me tho

i know pro-x rings work on oem pistons, cuz thats what im running right now. i dont think you should have a problem...not sure about wisecos being the same.

if your hittin toronto, you have to drive right by us (if you come from michigan). come ride the st clair river/ lake huron. plenty of couches and spare rooms between us. and always lots of beer!

i doubt youll feel a big difference, but your engine will be firing correctly. definatly cant hurt

similar happened to me and it was because the flywheel key sheared...wouldnt start, and backfired when rolling the enigne over. caused by the flywheel bolt not being tight enough i think..as it took a little while for it to happen. just a thought!

frase i think you gotta grind out a bit of the flywheel cover...or some of the plastic on the sensor. then that hole should line right up id say

i had a lot of gap and ended up taking out the mid shaft and knocking the shaft ahead about 3/8'' to close the gap. put the bearing carrier in a vise and whack the shaft with a rubber mallet. worked for me anyways.

i always found sx's to be super reliable. change the plugs, add gas. ( stockers anyways) theres 3 in our gorup and they never quit! now my superjet...that things always gettin worked on. SO KEEP THE SX FRASER!!!!!!
