That is scary and pretty out of the ordinary. None of the 6 or 7 strokers here (only one Able) has broken piston skirt. I did see that my cases say LPW on them, but not sure if he did the cylinder too.

I've got an old ABLE billet cylinder on Christin's ski. It's a 82mm bore and a 73mm stroke. It runs good, but I'm sure it could be better (or bigger?). So who deals with these antiques? The motor is dated 1994 BTW. Tim Judge? Team Scream? Jet Works? Thanks, Aaron

The correct procedure is to take the ground loose first. This way the tool you are using can't arc out if you touch something metal. Then when the ground is disconnected from the battery, the removal of the positive terminal is safer because the battery is already out of the circuit.
