Other Blowsion's new 2011 one-piece Yamaha Head ! Who Has Experience With It ?

Why not just get a color anodized ADA head from JetManiac; they seem to be more popular and about the same price? http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/80623-Jetmaniac-is-now-ADA-Dealer-ADA-Heads-throttle-wheels-etc.-BILLET-BLING

    650/X-2 Nozzle mod

If the orifice diameter between the reduction nozzle venturi and the steering nozzle venturi is less than 2mm then the boat is hard to turn; if the difference is greater than 3.5mm to 4mm, than the steering gets real sloppy. I would just bore the reduction nozzle a bit larger for more...

Super Jet is it possible to put new wires in an msd coil?

No the spikes are mounted sideways and the MSD coil case is molded around the wires so they're not replaceable. Just purchase a Kawasaki coil and save yourself some cash.

    HEATHENS, mark your Mayan Calendars...

The guy you're infatuated with is Ross Champion and he was on that stunt junkie's episode where they tried to do a double back flip attempt.

    Keeping boots on plugs . . .

I'd go with some MSD logo boots with the retainers and if they still come loose you might have an internal engine balance problem or bent rod etc.

Super Jet What's up with my piston?

Could be a water stain or from exhaust reversion because the fuel mixture is off on that cylinder. I'd spray that piston skirt with some carb cleaner and see if the stain comes off or if it's something permanently etched into the aluminum.

Other What causes this level of corrosion?

I've been blasting them clean with fine mesh media after they're completely disassembled and re-dipping them in Alodine 1201 or Iridite 14-2 before painting with good results.

Other What causes this level of corrosion?

Those diaphragms vibrate with every engine stroke and worn out from the debris inside which was caused by the salt water corrosion. The carbs should be completely disassembled and have all the fuel passages inspected & cleaned thoroughly. Also you might want to replace those valve body screws...

Super Jet stock superset pump question

Lowes sells the 2-ply 3/8-inch air line by the foot so there's no need to get a whole roll.

Super Jet what is a 62n motor

The 62N designation just means it's a 1994 SJ SN SJ701S crankcase and cylinder assembly.

Other Best way to replace sleeves and transfer porting?

If you have a true ported big bore cylinder with aftermarket sleeves you'll need to know what type sleeves you have installed. Each big bore sleeve has a different diameter and flange measurement depending on the manufacturer and cylinder model fitment. If the sleeves are damaged from a rod...
