is there a easy way to test the stator without taking it out?

I just have one question, how could it be the stator if it runs perfectly fine for how ever long I ride it. wouldn't there be a performance loss?

How do i test the stator and what should the voltage be?

Whats the price on sending it to JSS. And how long does it take? i'm just debating on either sending it off or buying a new oem one.

My 98 superjet runs perfect the entire time i ride it. Then when i shut it off, it wont start. it turns over fine, but wont fire. When i let it sit for over 15 minutes, it starts fine. i already ruled out the spark plugs being a problem. Any ideas? The motor is all stock.

i just hooked the charger up to the battery and tried starting it, and the crank turned over a little, so its definitly the battery. i'm going to get one of those AGM batterys like you said, since it seems like i go through a battery a year. thanks everyone for the help
