That's pretty crazy that your pistons look like that and your ski runs that good! I have no idea how to put a new crank in. but I'll check the superjet manual and see what it says before i put any money into the motor.

I think I will put new pistons and rings in, port the cylinders and put a girdle on over the winter, now that i'm out of college and making money. is there a way to check to see if the crank is in good working shape? like is there suppose to be a certain amount of play? If it's low i'm just going to put new pistons and rings in But if i did get a stuck piston could that wreck the crankshaft or something else besides the cylinders? I'm not a mechanic and don't know a lot about motors, but I can do a 2 stroke top end.

I accidentally had the flywheel puller bolts screwed in too tight when removing the flywheel and the bolts went into the stator, is this something john can repair?

Thank you Vumad! That pretty much answered all of my question i had including jetting. i'll see what he says about switching the motors. if he doesn't really want to , I will take your advice. I'm sure that would still give me enough of a hp increase for next year coming from a stock motor.

Because he bought the ski just to sell and make money. And he would make more money selling me the parts. what kind of performance gains would i see with the ada head? i know i would have to get the right size domes too.
