That's a stock 440 pipe. A sbn 44 will work with proper jetting. This should be a setting that should at least get you started and will probably a little rich but worked well on a piston port 550 engine. 2.0n/s 65g spring, 100 pilot 110 main. 1 turn out high and low speed screws and go from there.
These guys at wavedaze a few years back had a jammer and decided to zip tie the throttle wide open and ran it on the trailer. She lasted over 15 minutes before finally melted down haha
the a02t works for both the 760 64x yamaha and the kawi 750/800 as they both use a hall effect sensor. depending on where you purchased it, itll come pre programmed with the "wax" curve which will work fine, however typically theyre setup for a yamaha which uses a different static angle. it...
what is your programming on your cdi set to? there are a few settings that youll need to establish to verify its set up properly.
trigger type- i believe the 750 flywheel has 2 triggers. this setting is for use on the 760 ignitions so you can use an unmodified 760 flywheel as it has 3 lumps...
i just use fogging oil after every ride and will start the engine up a few times to blow out any water in the exhaust. one last time with a few squirts of fogging oil before i shut it down for storage
Depending on the hull, you should be able to get away with modifying the stock plates I'm not sure what is necessary. The krash pump will be fine but you'll want to swap out the impeller for a lower pitch. Something like a 6/12-7/14. They are 5mm setback.
What impeller are you running. I also have a 148 mag pump not a torrent but a kavinci. It loads the engine pretty hard. I'm running a 7/15 89mm nozzle? I'll have to double check the ID on the outlet nozzle. with a 2mm spacer behind the impeller. It was at 9 degrees on the leading edge. I took 2...
I'd even try a 125 pilot 150 main being that it's a chicken which is much heavier load than a standup or x2. You'll want to jet up.more to compensate. Try a big jet increase on the pilot first. Then adjust accordingly.. Hopefully you've made it too rich on the low speed circuit so that you've...
What are you using as a flame arrestor? That will also affect popoff. Oem flame arrestor will need higher popoff typically than a open filter type. Try a 120 pilot 145 main and see what that does and go from there
Sbn44 on a 650 and you are using a 75 pilot jet? That is wayyyy too small. You need at least a 110-120 pilot and a 130-145 main. Popoff around 21-25 psi. Typical n/s for that is 2.0 with a 80g or 95g spring. Try both see which works best. You can play around with combination of popoff and low...
Is the diamond the only pattern they have? I used the smooth hydroturf on the tray sides of my superfreak and used the molded diamond on the floor and on the roof of the footholds.
The dribble problem is coming from too high of fuel pressure especially with dual carbs that have 2 fuel pumps. Also being that the engine is bored, higher compression, pipe etc all which cause a much stronger pulse to the fuel pumps. This causes fuel to dribble past the needle and seat...
Interesting. What does the texture feel like compared to the hydroturf molded diamond? Hard to tell from pictures bit looks to be similar to the molded diamond which is all I ever use. Price is considerably better than hydroturf which is good if it will hold up.
Sounds like you could have a leaking needle and seat or seat o ring. I would remove the carb and check the popoff. Also you can check to see if the tip on the needle or the o ring is leaking by spraying some wd40 or similar on the needle and seat then use a small air pump to pressurize the fuel...
One of the most challenging skis to turf is the superfreaks. I got to turf mine when I was building it. I used smooth on the sides to make it easier not having to try to keep the pattern straight and used molded diamond on the tray floor and under the foothold. That definitely made it easier as...
Thankyou. It's not too difficult. Just take your time and measure twice cut once. You can use template fabric to make a template and transfer it to your turf. Cut a little big and start in the same spot for reference so you don't end up cutting too small..also have a heat gun around to heat...
No experience with the rrp foothold but did a set from tigercraft which are basically the same thing. I used 2 pieces of 9mm under padding to wrap around the bottom and 1 layer on top. Then used a cutoff wheel with a scotch Brite pad to shape it. Then used a strip of turf underneath through the...
