Dude , my flywheel took out the stator with it , its located in behind the flywheel....

Dude , last thing i replaced was the stator , and guess what , that was the problem , and i have managed to pop another one since... ! :rolleyes:

Dude , my advice would be to remove and inspect your starter motor. As it lives at the bottom of the engine it gets a shower every time the ski is used , and this knocks the crap auta them over time. While its out have it serviced... :)

Did you ever see a Superjet with a raised pole.? I rest my case dude.... :p

Sell it and buy a superjet.... , job done... ;)

Dudes , i think you are all crazy lowering the pole. It`s unique to the FX1 and is mega cool.... :cool:

I`m answering my own question here dudes , YES the steering from a RN Superjet and a FX1 are the same.... Thanks for all your input.. ;)

No , engine 100% dead... but both bilge pumps are working fine though ... ! :eek:

My lightened flywheel broke/came apart.

Dudes , flywheel replaced with working oem item , & new battery fitted , ski 100% dead. When flywheel pops , what does it normally take out with it.. ? Thanks...

Thanks guys , reason for asking is that my lightened flywheel i fitted 2 years ago has come apart. Is this the average life for them or was i just unlucky. If they normally only last a couple of years considering refitting OEM wheel. I like reliability in my life... :rolleyes:

Dudes , on a ski with an ada head , B pipe , domes , reeds , MSD enhanser , 46mm carb and a 144mm pump will a lightened flywheel make much of a difference to acceleration over the OEM item..?

Yes , batterys are kept and charged indoors. Starter motor normally has water in it when serviced , any sure fire way of making them 100 % watertight.

Dudes , last 3 years without fail my starter motor or bendix has failed after the Winter lay-over. Click , click click... I have serviced or replaced each time with a new starter motor or bendix. Next Season click.! Has anyone else experienced similar ..?? Is this a FX1 thing . Getting...
