Thanks BK , but this water box is wedged in there pretty tight, no wriggle room...
Could i heat and reshape the side of the stinger (hammer time)to make get the required gap.?
Advice needed: i have an aftermarket water box fitted and now my stinger is rubbing up against my fuel tank....
Is adjusting the stinger with a hammer an option... ???

Thanks for your advice guys, I had a go with an air chisel at the rear of the coupler , dug in a bit but after around 10 seconds it spun it right off..
Hello guys, what is the process of removing the coupler that connects to the prop shaft at the rear of the engine... I know it is threaded in and don’t want to damage it... thanks in advance...
Hi guys , a couple of times after starting up my ski on its trailer after hitting the kill switch ski kept on running. removing the plugs made no difference , turning off the fuel finally worked.
It has a dasa 1100 with twin carbs. Quicker engine stop technique required please..... Thanks... :cool:

Just broke my engine , ada head , 37cc domes, 46mm carb, b pipe , etc. :(
And i would like to replace it with an engine with a bit more poke, but need reliability.
Needs to bolt right in without any size issues and be compatible with the engine mounts, b pipe, carb...
Dudes , the 701 SJ in square and round nose seem to be around forever and still been manufactured today. One great ski for sure , anyone have a rough idea as to how many have been made over the years.... ? :cool:
