    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

You really don't want to be horizontal: you want to land tail first, but not so nose high that you are tipping over the back. As soon as you start to get any height you'll realize that landing horizontally is VERY jarring to the point of injury if you start to get up there.

Nose Modification "rocker" Thread.... making a sj a better surf ski.....

I'm seriously considering it as my winter project. The only thing making me hesitate is that I have a bunch of other projects to get done this winter so I don't know if I will have the time. But, I am very interested in losing a few inches off the front of my ski to help my flatwater back flips...

    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

Check out this video: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/85554-Braaaapppp-vision Pause it at 2:19. Now that's a backflip hull jumping without going over the back. Look at the body position: butt in and pole into chest. OK, that's a no-hander, but you can see where the pole would be if he was holding...

Use the right impeller tool, a good spline holder, a long crack bar and some heat and it's not bad at all. Say goodbye to your knuckles though.

    Freestyle Not digging the Footholds

To answer that specific question: yes - footholds feel very weird at first, but you quickly get used to them if they suit your style of riding. They are really meant for flatwater freestyle - for surf I would go with straps for sure.

Super Jet Check out this Double Impeller

The downside would be a bunch more rotating mass which would hurt your bottom end. I wonder if the improved hookup would outweigh that?

    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

No, that's not a disadvantage if you keep your body straight. It's a big disadvantage if you swing your butt out over the back of the ski since you can swing it further than average

    Freestyle Trouble jumping wakes...

All those things help, but you don't need footholds, surf stance or a shortened pole to jump without getting vertical. It's just a matter of where your body is when you take off (not where your feet are - you can jump absolutely flat with your feet at the back of the tray. You can also do...

Super Jet best way to remove stock graphics

You'll need a plastic scraper too - the solvent will soften up the glue but you still have to remove it and there's a lot of it!

    Sick joke by SFL l

Wow - that's messed up. I was so stunned and upset when I read that - I was thinking of Kris and how devasted she must be. I'm glad it's not true, but jeebus - those weren't a fun few minutes. Terry, you should edit the thread title (or can the mods do that BK?). Just so people know upfront what...

    Tray options

I haven't tried RRPs, but XFTs also keep you super-locked in, are very comfortable and easy to pull out of. Howver, I'm not sure how much fun they'd be in the surf since they do put your feet way back in the tray.

Super Jet No Drain Plug on 2004 Superjet ?!?!?!?!?

Um, hello..? You are supposed to bring your jet ski into your bedroom over the winter where it can stay nice and warm and you can tell it that it will soon be riding weather again.... ;-) Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using Tapatalk

Freestyle So, what is best about this picture?

Sorry I couldn't make it down there to help this weekend. Believe me, I would rather have been there than at a dressage show all weekend: I love supporting Suzi with her stuff, but it's not exactly a wild time for me....

Other How do I replace the brass pump bolt inserts?

I would wait till you refoam if you really want to do it, and leave them alone otherwise (unless you have a specific problem).

Lee Stones Flat water Super Flip at the 2010 IJSBA World Finals !!!!

I nearly needed a huge one earlier: a cute chick came up to me and said "here's that hansome guy! He's so gorgeous!" Turns out she was talking about my dog. Bugger.

Power Valves - Care and Feeding?

Chuck recommends Quicksilver in his motors - not synthetic. Just saying.

    2011 xscream daytona beach freeride / Jan.15,16

I hope so - that surf moto was awesome! But, after Mark Gomez styling it last year, I think it should be mandatory that everyone has to bust a freestye move on the way out through the surf :Banane09:

    Freestyle Rickter XFS-specs and pricing?

Exactly: run a fuel selector and you've get a get-you-home reserve there in the firewall. Damn, I just got a bonus big enough to buy one of these, so let me see: pay off credit card or buy Rickter hull...? My XS motor sure would look purdy in that. Choices, choices....
