Old 550's like that were "piston port." The position of the piston opens and closes the intake ports.

That's the awful 4 blade stock impeller. Just about any aftermarket impeller works better than that. What's your budget? Under $100 will get you an older style (but still effective) straight blade Skat. I think I have a 8/16 or 9/17. $200 will get you a used newer swirl style 13/16 or the like...

Oh, I just realized that's a water sensor it it. I incorrectly assumed it checked the electrical load on the bilge pump (how Rule does it). Gonna need to mount it pretty low. I like my hull as dry as possible.

The stock start stop switch makes a connection between two wires to kill the engine. So if his switch is bad or the connection is bad the ski would just keep running. Aaron

I think the waterbox on my 750SXi Pro is cracked. Once I get both hoses off of it, what else holds it in place? Aaron

Just curious (since I run total loss) but why? Is it because of the charging coil (that charges the CDI)? Or the lighting coil (that charges the battery)? The 61X, even 6M6 stuff is lighter and some systems (like Advent) don't use the charging coil to run the CDI. Aaron
