Lets back up. When you say 62T, are you referring to the cases or the cylinders? Because the Superjet was sold as a 62T twin carb, but continued to use 61X cylinders. So if your 62T is out of a couch then it's probably a 62T cylinder and has the higher port timing for better top end.
If it's...
I just switched to "lightweight" on my iPhone. The formatting after hitting "new posts" is good. But when you hit "forums" it just kinda lumps all the forum names together and none of the links work. i.e. the forum categories aren't clickable.
That is a function of the CDI. It's a STOP signal sent to the CDI. Dirt bike kill switches are usually setup so they just break the signal between the stator and the CDI, if you release the stop button before the engine stops then the CDI gets the stator trigger signal again and fires back up...
This is where TBM's story gets fishy. Yesterday they told MasterBlaster that none of them were compatible. Two years ago they told me no problem and specifically made to be compatible. I spent about $2500 between TBM's junk and the necessary repairs from the damaged caused by their junk.
Did you buy the carbs new? I found out that not all Novi's have the drilled out return line orifice. I ran a 60 main yet and it was too small, I ended up with no jet in the return line. It's been about 1.5 years since I figured this out but I think my ski seemed to run OK with the main jet in...
The white registration numbers will look good, I'd tighten up the spacing a bit and move them a little further back too. What impeller do you have? The stock SN impellers seem to come in two styles: bad (3 blade, aluminum) and worse (4 blade aluminum).

Ironically the only other time I have seen that was from Rok's rickter at WF 08. I'm guessing it has to do with the cut out on the top of the steering nozzle.
1000 of them sold. Haha. I doubt it. Plus a 1% defect ratio..between Wattage and I we know of 5 bad ones, plus your sticky one makes 6. That means we got 60% of the defects. Total B.S.
Black vinyl looks great. Did you sew the pattern yourself? Looks like a good ski, probably the best SN graphics kit there was. How do you like the brake lever throttle? Looks like a heck of a reach compared to normal trigger throttles.

How could a single channel ignition that shares a coil like that be good on one cylinder and bad on another? Was timing verified with a light back when it was installed?
I do recall the first TBM was really tight on the crankshaft key because I had to use a puller to remove it the ENTIRE WAY. on a normal flywheel you just need the puller to initially POP the flywheel loose.

I had just about let this go, but reading this thread recently really ticked me off.
First, EVERYONE knows the second version of the TBM Yama flywheel was sold as 100% compatible with the Advent ignition. Now they are claiming it is not compatible with the Advent? I called and spoke to TBM...
Come on Gil, you already dropped that bag of poop on the front porch...now LITE IT.
As far as I know there are only two manufacturers with 7 port billet engines: Team Scream and the DASA small bore (<85mm) engines. I know the larger DASA billet cylinders (89+mm bore) are 5 port. So what's the...
