I need to thank @fatboyktm and @SomeDonnieDude for putting in some hours and donating a few parts to help me make my Georgia SFF deadline. As well as my brother Matt for the last minute vinyl work and being my designated infusion hose holder. Also thanks to Brian at @THRUST for the killer...
Some of you may remember back in '13, I took a stab at building my own freestyle hull from scratch. Well I went back to the lab, threw away the old drawing board, and geared up for round 2. I spent the better part of '14 perfecting my lay-up and infusion techniques so I could spend less time...
I did get a chance to swap skis with Matt and I know what you mean about the nose high control. Those footholds are awesome as well. I'm sure you'll be tearing it up with some more tray time.
Hey Rosie, I was bonding my hull together when you were finishing assembly on your ski. I hauled mine down to Georgia for its maiden voyage on Thursday and flipped it on Saturday. What are waiting for ????? ;)
Not sure if this is a corny idea or not, but I've been to a few free rides and only end up meeting a few guys from the X. If we had name tags with our real and user names, maybe the outsiders would associate a bit more??? Thoughts???
If you want to get fancy and have your vacuum run only when you need it and be able to vary your vacuum levels, the EVS system works very well. I have been running a system very similar to this for a few years with no problems. http://www.joewoodworker.com/veneering/EVS/concept.htm
