If its not f'd up it will tighten as you ride, it's reverse threaded. If it rattles you have issues! Either the driveshaft or the impeller has come apart. It should be tight and centered.
My advice, take things slow, get out whenever you can,and have fun. This isn't the sport you just jump into and start pulling backflips. Meet some people through the site here or come to Wavedaze or one of the other fall freerides and meet some people to ride with.
I was going to chrome wrap mine til it occurred to me that direct sunshine could blind me spotting my landing at certain angles and decided to just use chrome accents on my design instead
Yep that was shot with a regular go pro, I have my Gopro that I am charging right now to take out for filming of volume 2 this weekend. Mine is modded with a ragecams no fisheye lens, the picture is a whole lot cleared and gives a better sense of actual distance.
First wake has twice the pop, we see a lot of the same boats weekend after weekend, I like to think they enjoy the show. Especially boats with kids on board!
Do you properly gap your plugs? Or run them right out of the box. Stock ngk gap is .3, thats too big a gap for operation in salt water. Try running your plug gap a little tighter. Stock and JSS coils have trouble jumping more of a gap than that when they get soggy. Ask me how I know :)
I bought mine a ls2000 jet boat. Now every weekend we spend on the water. We are now moving in December to be closer to the water. As an added bonus the boat hauls our gas to the ride area and gives us somewhere to hang out when there aren't boats around. If stuff breaks on the boat, they are...
My buddy got one of the new non setback mag "budget" pumps from jetmaniac and he couldnt be happier. I have a setback mag (scat) in my superfreak and it freaking rips, but its the only pump ive ever had. its about 500 bucks for the budget mag if im not mistaken. The ATP quick turn nozzle might...
the things you have suggested are not going to be seat of your pants wow factor. Mag pump with steering would be the best option for seat of the pants enjoyment. But if you are looking wow factor. Race gas compression, and total loss ignition, combine that with mag pump. and you'll be happier.l...
I know they may seem pricey, but try building a ski from scratch with decent parts. Used skis are a bargain, if they have been done right. Save up til you can get what you want as far as the guts of the ski, then get the hull
you want in a year or 2 there will be a lot of now state of the art...
I very much concur with the above, from mid to top end it's borderline hair raising! Any ideas on how to get a little more bottom end grunt. Maybe a little less impeller? I am currently running a 13/18 with a setback mag pump. Any ideas anyone. My buddies' 785 hits harder on the low end! I find...
Oh and for what it's worth I can't see his side of the story at all, I'm never going onto x-jetski.com. I don't want to log in, I don't want to sign in/sign up/sign anything. I'm a purist, I'll stay here.
