Easiest check is to see if the motor ground wire is loose at the starter. Other than that you need some test equipment and some knowledge

I made a fire extinguisher holder out of 3 inch PVC, and wrapped it in turf, I have yet to put it in my ski. You do NOT want a fire extinguisher going off inside your ski, ask me how I know! The powder in those things is ridiculously corrosive.

No just one at a time, but you are going to need a charged spare to get it started if you swamp your motor.

Word to the wise,have a great hood seal on your ski and do NOT swamp your ski with an ETX9,you will never get it re-started. Or buy 2 and have it easy to get too.

Glad its not just me when I call about my hood, I figured he was just blowing me off. I guess Ill just fix this one and maybe make a mold to make a beefier one when this one breaks again.

I'm not sure how yours is but I just have a battery tray that's more of a plate in the stock SJ location
