For what it’s worth, SEs have the same plug and epoxy in the same spot. whatever they use fails in 2 rides and clogs the undrilled returns. Everyone just grinds it off and repairs with Jb weld tank weld. I also drilled my returns and run a filter before return jet because I was tired of dealing...
It’s running great again but I didn’t find an issue. Cleaned carbs, pressure checked motor, pressure checked cooling system, fixed one semi crusty wiring connection. It was either they connection or some junk in the carbs I just didn’t see.
swapped plugs yes. Have not swapped coils. visually spark looks identical on crank test but that doesn't mean much. ugh i hate diagnosing ignition problems. Maybe this is the excuse i need to switch my 1200 ski to my new ignition :)

Looking for a reasonably priced set of flower booster Novis or full spec 48/49s. Reasonable price is important. This is for my 3rd big-ish motor ski so have to make sure wife doesn't divorce me. Ok with carbs that need some work.

Going well. Running well in my DVX. Just got next rev in from china. Having an issue with crank signal but it’s probably something simple. I’m hoping I solved the slow starting issue by getting rid of the boot loader.
Get the best hull you can. Full carbon, good brand, good model. Cheap DVX, helium, Xfs, TIGERCRAFT XI, etc. do not compromise on the hull. You can flip a good short carbon hull with a 701.
