I took the same approach as Gil - I ground down an old open end wrench and consider it my 'B-pipe wrench". Still useable for other applications of course.
x2 - I was just about to say that it takes a few moments to get the water coming out of the pisser...I guess that's obvious though....
Also - could the head be on backwards?? I know when I replaced my stocker the ADA instructions were very adamate about having it on there the right way.
I can't recall right offhand but I don't think by my dremeling I opened up any holes that weren't already open.
I've never had any probs with it regardless.
I had him down to $1,400 but he called me back and told me he changed his mind.

RE the carbs - my son' s been running a pair of them on his RN for two years now - They liked to get rich on low end but I was able to fix that - they run good.
