Good to hear - I guess (and hope) there will be only a few no-shows. Mouthfulloflake will be sorely missed. No one is going to be "chasing anyone off". There are no restrictions other than the little swimming holes. Where we will be riding is totally open for business.

Someone's missing the point here (or was looking for an excuse :nana:) - the area where WE ARE GOING TO BE is not closed, its the public "beach" area that is in the back of the other cove. OMG, I can't believe this. They will likely be calling all-clear by thursday or friday. Okay can...

I guess those that are coming but still worried can bring their (GASP!) couches out of the closet and ride them so they don't get wet :moon:

This is BS guys - the park rangers closed the "beach" at PB2, which is not really a fawkin beach at all really - - it's the back end of a quiet cove that doesn't get any action at all, and they got a bunch of geese back there that took up residence. The rest of the Lake is FINE.

THe "beach" is only that little swimming area in the back of the cove, next to the PB2 main office AROUND THE CORNER from where we will be. We are not at the BEACH. The ride is on guys.

And the Lake is cleared up now, generally. I was there yesterday.

I believe the "beach " they are speaking of is only the cordoned off area that is a public swimming area by the PB2 main office/launch - NOT where we will be.
