This is my first time ever using 1208 and 1708 biaxial fiberglass, and this will be the last time I ever use it again! It dosent soak in resin very well and it's very airy. I will stick with plain weave and twill from know on! The 1708 will be ok for building up the tray, and that's about it...
I'm putting mine in the stock location also, and the holes are not off by much if at all. If the holes were off, it would be nothing to fill the stock rivet holes with some epoxy and redrill new holes.
