I'm hoping to acquire a nose rocker kit like this one from carterB. I messaged him last night, so we will see what he says. I'm hoping he has one for me!
The rear end is getting a steady stream of semi slow progress, but is coming along nicely. It's deffinently starting to take shape. I'm going to add a layer or two more of some 1208 to the outside to raise the surface a little more, and then it's sanding time again! She will be flipped back over...
Thanks, I need to be able to lay fiberglass down to start building the wall back up, and foam just seemed like it would be easiest to shape the wall from. Once I have a good layer of glass on the outside, I'm going to rip out the foam and lay fiberglass on the inside also.
What should I used for my trim cable tube, and how do I seal it in the pump area? Should I used a steering cable setup like what the steering cable uses to seal the water out in the pump area, or??
Update pics. Got the back cut up finally. And I bought some foam from Home Depot and start making some molds for my side rails and foot holds. I'm gonna make my own bob style foot hold setup.
Lol! I've been at this place for about 3 years now, so they can't keep my deposit. Cali has a wear and tear law that comes into effect after two years. Plus the dirty work will be done out side on the balcony.
Yup, I sure am! You should have seen what I had to do to my last 550/750 that I did fiberglass work too right here in my living room. I've got a bad ass shop vac that I keep turned on pritty much the entire time with the hose pointed right at the source of dust. It works surprisingly well. On...
I'm looking for a rn pole to get me threw until I save up enough cash for a billet RRP pole. It's needless to say, but my neighbors hate me! And my wife hates me even more once there is a Jetski in the living room! This will be the 3rd stand up jet ski that I built in this very same living room!
Here gose! I'm starting another build. This time it's a 1990 sn superjet. This won't be a quick build. I'm going to take it slow. My goal is to have it ready for next spring. I will be chopping 3 inches off the back and removing the entire tray and refoaming it. I will be adding footholds also...
How reliable are these? What are the chances of it malfunctioning and filling my engine compartment up with water? I'm not sure if I like the idea of having a straight threw hole in my hull that water could get into if something happens to the scupper door. Can someone please explain? Thanks
