760s rock add compression and some timing they are great motors that pull very well when setup right, ive had to adjust my riding style for every motor ive owned most people i know utilize the midrange of there powerband anyways
Once you find tdc i think you first rotate counter clockwise about 90 degrees then rotate clockwise if your facing your flywheel. Watch the degree wheel when your light flashes. You want it to trigger before tdc not after. Your doing it the wrong way i believe, it's been awhile i may be wrong.
Cookin I believe its out of one of the new couches, or possibly the stock gpr pump. The bolt hole symmetry is not identical to our 155s so you need to run a different wear ring or weld and redrill the holes ask me how I know
Doesnt art have a curve for that motor? You can only take away timing never add it. If your static is 31 thats all you can ever pull. the curve on the back of the brain should be close to what you need just change what rpm you want to start pulling the timing down to suit your needs.
Your 29 is low if thats your static go higher then pull from that, that way if you need more timing you always have the option. I would be running at least 31
I believe you need a larger jet for duals, 60 is for the single, im running around 100 on the 50s now.
It will rip real hard for a day or two with no return jet tho o_O
And that is why youll never be a pro, it takes time money and commitment. Im sure these guys dont make any good money until they turn it into something like rick roy or nick barton
Yes thats basically what i was asking, when over lets say 8000 rpm for example my marks werent quite lining up perfect I was assuming thats what the delay compensation feature was doing when adjusted I may be able to get a tighter tolerance but possibly its as you mentioned the light cant just...
I realize what the calculation is doing in relation to the spark, but since his stator came pre marked I didn't understand why he would include the calculation in the manual. When I was timing in the unit I am using, I had the strobe light slightly drift possibly 1mm or less to either side of...
Have you found you've needed to adjust your delay compensation when using your light, also why have the static angle calculation in the manual if you've already marked your stator plate?
