Has anyone seen the tow line mounted like this?

I can, that is going to have to be done. I was wondering what other people have mounted or done without having to alter the hull to much.

I have a WCF hull and there is no bow eye. Anyone have ideas on the a clean resolve for installing a tow line?

The question of strength has not been answered, I am curious as well. Are they stronger?

I purchased some quick release buckles for a back pack from REI for 1.50 for two. I do not know how good they are but they seem just fine.

That is correct, only 4 rivets and it is off. I did the same with the holes, 5200, ant then turfed. If you drill them, they may start to sping just take some pliers and hold the rivet from inside the engine compartment. :biggthumpup:

By the way, the pole in the picture is a X-metal pole. You can see how it looks and mounts. Jon

The WD system is plate, bearing, and post that will mount as any steering system, but the bearing inclosure is designed to be stationary so the housing does not move with the bearings. The needle bearings are larger in diameter as well as the housing as you can see in the pics i have posted...

I have the Water Dawg steering system and I just installed it. It is trick and the quality is amazing and the new design I feel is better than UMI. I will include a pic. The new grips, who has them in stock?
