Actually what they're doing is supposed to be pretty tough because at 90mph you can easily lose control in that position. I think they do it to get higher top speeds, but I'm not sure.

There was a guy at a local lake doing that and he going fast flying in the "superman" position......the bad thing was he started in a cove and came blasting out into the main waterway. So close to clipping a ski boat it was not even funny Even if you try a swerve at that speed it all bad!!
